Co-naturality

In the context of artificial intelligence the principle of co-naturality offers an alternative to the traditional dichotomy between the mechanical and the organic. The organic is often prescribed as a remedy to industrialization, but co-naturality suggests the possibility of a constant exchange between the two in which existence is enhanced through their interaction. Philosophers and cultural theorists such as such as Yuk Hui, Donna Haraway, Ramon Amaro and Karen Barad have, from different perspectives, actively explored alternative models that offer a compelling existence in which the mechanical and the organic are closely aligned.
